What to include for an accurate quote
Uniforms and corporate wear
- Garment type, brand or style if you have one, colours and a size breakdown.
- Positions: left chest, right chest, sleeve, back or nape, and whether any names are added per person.
- Whether we supply the garments or you do.
Caps and headwear
- Cap style (structured, unstructured, trucker, beanie, bucket hat) and colour.
- Front only, or sides and back too; flat or 3D puff.
Gifts, towels and personal items
- The exact names or initials, preferred font style and thread colour.
- Item type and quantity, and the date you need it.
Every job
- Your deadline, and whether you will collect in Rivonia or need delivery.
Uploading your artwork
The quote form accepts up to 5 files of up to 25 MB each, in PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, JPG, TIFF, PSD, CDR or ZIP format. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG or a vector PDF) give us the cleanest starting point for digitising. If you only have a photo or screenshot of your logo, send it anyway; we can usually work from it and will tell you if it needs redrawing.
Include a note on brand thread colours or Pantone references if you have them. If your logo has very fine text or gradients, we will suggest how to adapt it for stitching. See our artwork guidelines for the details.
What happens after you submit
We review your artwork and details, check garment stock where we are supplying, and estimate stitch count and digitising. If anything is unclear, such as sizes, positions or colours, we contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp before quoting so the figure is right first time.
Your written quote sets out the items, embroidery positions, digitising, any delivery and the turnaround we can commit to. Once you accept, we prepare a stitch proof for approval. Production is booked once the proof is approved and payment is made as stated on your quote. Urgent? Read how same-day embroidery works before you submit.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly will I get my quote?
We aim to reply promptly during working hours. Simple requests with clear artwork and quantities are the quickest to quote; jobs needing garment sourcing or artwork clarification can take a little longer.
Is the instant estimate the same as a quote?
No. The instant estimate is a guide based on your selections. The written quote confirms the real stitch count, digitising, garment availability and turnaround after we have seen your logo.
Can I request a quote over WhatsApp instead?
Yes. Send your logo and job details by WhatsApp or on-site chat, or email sales@samedayembroidery.co.za. The form is simply the most organised way to give us everything at once.
Do you need my final size breakdown to quote?
An approximate total is enough to quote. We confirm the exact size breakdown before ordering garments, so you can collect sizes from your team in the meantime.
