Trade & contract

Contract embroidery for the trade

Promotional companies, uniform suppliers, clothing labels and designers often need a reliable embroidery partner without running machines themselves. We quote on contract embroidery for trade clients: your garments, your clients' logos, stitched and packed so you can deliver under your own name.

  • Unbranded packing
  • Repeat files on record
  • Clear trade quotes
  • Overflow and rush jobs

Who trade embroidery suits

We quote on contract work for businesses that sell branded clothing but prefer to outsource the stitching:

  • Promotional and corporate gifting companies needing logos on golf shirts, caps and jackets
  • Uniform and workwear suppliers with embroidery included in their tenders
  • Clothing labels and designers adding small logos, chest marks or labels to their ranges
  • Print shops whose clients ask for embroidery alongside printed items
  • Schools and club shops restocking badges and crests on school wear

Ask us about overflow work when your own production is full, too.

How a trade job runs

  1. Brief: send the garment list, logo, positions and your deadline
  2. Quote: we confirm digitising needs, timing and packing in writing
  3. Proof: you, or your client via you, approve the stitch proof
  4. Drop-off: garments arrive counted and sorted by size and colour
  5. Production: we stitch, trim, check and re-count
  6. Packing: items packed plain, by size or by order, ready for you to deliver

Clear communication is the whole job: one contact person on your side, written approvals and agreed counts protect everyone.

Your client stays your client

Trade work is handled discreetly. We can pack orders without our branding and communicate only with you, never with your end customer, unless you ask us to. Proofs can be supplied in a plain format so you can forward them under your own name.

Approved stitch files are kept on record against your account, so repeat orders for the same end client are faster and consistent. If you supply stitch files from another digitiser, we check and tidy them where needed; see digitising and artwork setup.

Garments, quality checks and counts

Most trade clients supply their own stock, so please follow the checks on our customer-supplied garments page: count, sort and include spares for unfamiliar fabrics. We can also quote on sourcing garments for you.

Every piece is checked for registration, thread tension, loose threads and backing removal before packing. Any item with a fabric fault spotted on arrival is flagged to you before stitching, not after.

Turnaround for trade orders

Trade timelines are agreed per job and confirmed on the quote. Rush and same-day slots may be available on qualifying orders, subject to approved artwork, garments on hand, payment terms and production capacity. Give us forecasts for large seasonal runs, such as back-to-school or year-end gifting, and we can plan capacity around them. Collection is from Rivonia; delivery is quoted per job.

Frequently asked questions

Do you deal directly with my client?

Not unless you ask us to. On trade work we communicate with you, pack without our branding on request and supply proofs you can forward under your own name.

Can you handle overflow when my machines are full?

Ask us about it. Overflow work depends on our own schedule, so the earlier you share upcoming volumes, the better our chances of fitting your jobs in at the time you need.

Can you use stitch files from my digitiser?

Often, yes. Send the native file and a reference image. We test it and let you know if it needs tidying for density, trims or sequencing before production.

Do you offer trade terms?

Payment and account terms are agreed per client and stated on your quote. Tell us about your expected volumes and we will discuss what applies.
