Guarding & patrol wear

Security uniform embroidery that is clear at a glance

Security officers need to be identified instantly, by residents, visitors and their own control room. We embroider company logos, SECURITY lettering, shoulder badges and officer names on shirts, jerseys, jackets, caps and beanies, with bold, high-contrast stitching that reads from a distance and survives daily shifts.

  • Bold, readable lettering
  • Shoulder badges and epaulettes
  • Shirts, jerseys and jackets
  • Names and ranks

For guarding companies, estates and in-house teams

Guarding companies, residential estates and complexes, office parks, schools, shopping centres and businesses with in-house security staff all need uniforms that make officers easy to recognise. Embroidery gives a professional, permanent finish that does not crack or peel like printed lettering, which matters on garments worn every shift and washed constantly.

Security ranges usually span shirts, jerseys, jackets, caps and beanies. We digitise your logo and lettering once so every item matches.

Typical security uniform layouts

  • Left chest – company logo
  • Right chest – officer name, rank or ID
  • Shoulder – a sew-on embroidered badge or stitched sleeve logo
  • Back – large SECURITY or company lettering on jackets and jerseys
  • Epaulettes and caps – company initials or rank markings

Back lettering is the most important detail for visibility. We use bold block letters with strong contrast, such as white or yellow on navy or black, sized to fill the back panel cleanly.

Garments and fabrics

We stitch on epaulette shirts, combat-style shirts, military-style jerseys with shoulder and elbow patches, bomber and padded jackets, fleece, rain jackets, cargo trousers (pocket logos), caps and beanies. Heavy knit jerseys need a stable underlay so lettering stays straight, and jackets with reflective strips have logos placed clear of the tape. Where uniforms must meet specific client or industry requirements for wording or insignia, please give us the approved specification and we will follow it exactly.

Badges, re-orders and new recruits

Sew-on shoulder badges are useful for security companies with high staff turnover, because badges can be stitched in volume and applied to new garments as recruits join. Direct embroidery gives a cleaner finish on jackets and jerseys. Many companies use both. Your files are kept on record, so new officers' uniforms match the existing team. For larger rollouts across sites, see bulk and corporate orders.

Turnaround and collection

A new site contract or new recruits often means uniforms are needed quickly. Fast or same-day orders may be possible on qualifying jobs, always subject to capacity, job size, approved artwork, payment and a confirmed deadline. Supplying your own garments, or keeping stock of sew-on badges, speeds things up.

Collect from our Rivonia shop once we confirm the order is ready, or arrange delivery, quoted per job. Orders can be packed per officer or per site.

Frequently asked questions

Is embroidery or printing better for SECURITY back lettering?

Embroidery lasts longer on uniforms washed daily and looks more professional. On lightweight reflective vests, print is often more practical. We advise per garment.

Can you make sew-on shoulder badges?

Yes. Embroidered badges can be produced in volume and sewn onto shirts, jerseys and jackets, which is handy for new recruits and replacement garments.

Can you embroider officer names and ranks?

Yes. Send a list of names, ranks or IDs with garment sizes, and we will stitch them on the right chest or where your specification requires.

Can you embroider on our existing uniforms?

Yes, we embroider customer-supplied garments. Bring them clean and sorted, with your placement specification.
